Jabra Sport Wireless Headphones
I got these Jabra Sport Wireless Bluetooth Headphones for a great price on Groupon. They usually retail for $99, but they were only $35 on Groupon with an extra 20% off on top of that. It was too good a deal to pass up since I had been looking for wireless headphones to use while running and working out.
They are weatherproof with a built-in FM radio in case you want to exercise without carrying your phone or music player.
The design is over the ear to help them stay in place, and they come with an assortment of (weird looking) ear gels for a customizable fit.
But the fit is where they lost me.
It took me forever to figure out the ear gels–a user guide would have been helpful. They look like an array of alien pods with different growths sticking out of them. They aren’t labeled by size; you just have to guess and check seven times until you figure it out. After trying four different gels, I found a pair that I thought might fit me–that is, until it ripped as I tried to stretch it over the earphone, so I was out of luck.
Even with a good fit of the ear gels, the over-ear style is bulky and uncomfortable making my ears stick out and hurt after only a few minutes of wearing them.
I was definitely not impressed with these and was going to return them, but Vinnie likes the brand and he kept them. They fit him much better than they did me; they seem to be designed for larger heads/ears. I have since discovered that these were so discounted because they are now discontinued. My search for wireless running headphones continues…leave your suggestions below!
